Not only does the professional financial consultant have broad financial knowledge, but he also uses professional tools for analysis. This sets him apart from the crowd of people pretending to be financial consultants. The new profession of financial consultancy is becoming more and more desirable in the marketplace. This is because most people in our society have realised two basic truths:

• It is not possible to manage well one’s own finances without a financial plan,
• It is not possible to come up with a plan and achieve their goals without working with a certified financial consultant.

Thus, financial planning is not only a trend, but a necessity in life. Therefore, we are happy to provide all financial consultants with a new professional tool – a specialist computer software programme called “Financial Consultant”. This unique tool is the only software of its kind, both in Poland and in Europe. It allows the financial needs of a participant to be diagnosed. It also makes it possible to show a specific solution for the problem over the course of the following years.

The achievement of financial goals has now become easy and simple. Owing to its user-friendly format, the software – just like a multimedia finance encyclopedia – leads us through all the most important financial facts of life and financial instruments. The financial flows shown in the course of years provide clear material for interpretation. From this, it is clearly visible whether or not we are getting closer to achieving our financial goals.

The software was created due to the inspiration of the European Academy of Financial Planning and with the technological support of Macrix. A large role in testing the software was played by the participants of the course “European Financial Consultant” in its 2007/2008 edition. Owing to their comments, the presented version is fuller and better adapted to the requirements of the everyday work of a financial consultant. We would like to cordially thank all the EFC consultants from the year 2007/2008 for their long hours of testing and checking the software.
